BC 500 is a lineup of some of the world’s finest musicians from different styles of music playing music that takes the 60s electric blues movement to the next level while honoring traditional roots music. It’s an exciting and energetic performance of some of the finest live music to be heard today
This 5 piece band features: Johnny Neel on Keyboards and Vocals, Kenny Aaronson – Bass and Vocals, David Uosikkinen- Drums. Mark Kenneally on Harmonica and Vocals, Quentin Jones on guitar and vocals.
BC500 made its debut at the 2017 Lancaster Roots and Blues Festival to a packed SRO house that was left stunned and buzzing after the hour and a half set. The band is now in the studio recording their first release and are planning 2018 shows.
Dr. Harmonica and Rockett 88
Dr. Harmonica and Rockett 88's 40th anniversary is only a couple of years away. Rockett 88 has years of entertaining the masses and has built up a fan base and a brand that endures to this day, and the band shows no sign of slowing down. Rockett 88 shows everyone a good time when they fire the band and play some of the finest rockin’ blues to be heard anywhere today. Dr. Harmonica and Rockett 88's legacy is one of a hard working and hard playing road worthy band. After all, they have played thousands of gigs over nearly 40 years and has earned the respect of their peers spanning multiple generations.
Fronted by award winning and Hall of Fame singer and harmonica player Mark “Dr. Harmonica” Kenneally. Mark was in the 10th grade at Brandywine High School when he first saw a young George Thorogood perform. Shorty there after the two became good friends and fellow music loves. "That's how I got started," says Kenneally, 65. "George just happened to be in my class." That twist of fate has led Kenneally on a nearly four-decade career as his alter ego Dr. Harmonica, leading his band called Rockett 88.
Joining the Dr Harmonica is Alan Yandziak, on tenor saxophone, Quentin Jones on guitar, Danny Bendig on drums and laying down the low end on bass is Patrick Redding.
The Quentin Jones Trio
The Quentin Jones Trio are a rock and roll trio of guitar, bass and drums, the heart of any good time. They play high energy rock and roll, blues and rockabilly. The band is headed up by famed guitarist Quentin Jones, backed up by some of the top bass players and drummers in the world, like Kenny Arronson, (Rolling Stone Magazines bass player of the years and who has played with everyone from Bob Dylan to Billy Idol), and Danny Bendig on drums. (Danny played with every great Philly band including Chubby Check and Joe Frazer)
The band plays classic tunes (from Bo Diddly to Buddy Holly to Johnny Cash to great surf tunes) in their high energy style and the band covers some of the songs that Quentin has written and gain fame from.
Quentin Jones solo and duo
Quentin Jones is not only one of the most entertaining performers you can book for your venue, he is also one of the most entertaining performers to be seen anywhere because Quentin Jones has spent years entertaining and playing music with some of the top names in the world.
Quentin show is based on his world class guitar playing and he sings some of the most outstanding and entertaining rock, blues, country and rockabilly music to be heard anywhere in the world today.
Quentin plays his electric Gretsch guitar in such a way that is sounds full and strong, but more versatility, Quentin will can another musicians like a bass player or a harmonica player.
The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns
The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns have been bringing hard hitting music to crowds around the world for nearly 25 years. Since the early 1990’s, the Clowns have released six albums and have toured extensively playing major venues on both coast and points between, earning them a place in the hearts of a broad base of music lovers everywhere.
Drawing from roots rockabilly, surf, and rock n’ roll, with an irreverent punk attitude the Reach Around Rodeo Clowns have crafted a unique sound and presence that is always in demand.
Brothers Quentin Jones (guitar) and Wendell Jones (vocals) formed the band in Lancaster PA in 1995.
The Rodeo Clowns’ music has been featured regularly on radio stations worldwide, CBS television, and several independent and horror films, including 2013’s Dracula’s Sorority Sisters. They’ve also been featured in multiple magazines, such as Hot Rod, Fangoria, CMJ Music Monthly, Big Beat, East Coast Rocker, Girls and Corpses, and more. As one of the pioneering East Coast modern roots bands, their original music has been covered by artists including the Rockats, Lee Rocker from the Stray Cats, and rockabilly legend Charlie Gracie.
